The 8,000 case donation is part of the Pizza 4 Patriots and Suds for Soldiers program.

192,000 cans of beer are on their way to Iraq and Afghanistan, sent with love from the MillerCoors plant in Albany.

The 8,000 case donation is part of the Pizza 4 Patriots program. Last year, Uno sent 28-thousand pizzas to soldiers on the Fourth of July. This year, they're getting beer too.  Plant employee Michael Wise says the troops deserve the same fun we all do on the “Fourth."

“Are you kidding? In that 110 degree heat in the shade if you can find any over there. I'd love a beer and pizza,” Wise said.

MillerCoors is also sending post cards and a DVD message to troops.
