The Dougherty County School System dedicates an outdoor classroom at Lamar Reese Magnet School today. 

Organizers honored the wife of the school's namesake, Mrs. Sandra Reese.  The couple remains very active in the school and says today's dedication is a great honor. 

“I do come out here frequently. I do read to the classrooms and this school means a lot to Sandra and me. I’ve gotten the recognition and it’s good that my wife is here today and this gazebo is named in honor of her,” said Lamar Reese. 

The school plans to hold science classes in the gazebo for more hands on learning.
