Miller expands Albany plant, will now brew Coors Light

The Miller plant in Albany is expanding and creating 25 jobs for southwest Georgia.

The plant will now also brew Coors Light, and plant officials say they need at least 25 new employees to help do the job.  All 25 have already been hired and have started training through a partnership with Georgia’s Quick Start program and Albany Technical College.

Plant Manger Chris Thelen says the plant may hire more people as the expansion process continues.
