Tinted windows lead to drug arrest

SYLVESTER, GA --
Sylvester Police Department have arrested 21-year-old Tevin Lerodd Smith on multiple drug charges.

Smith was driving a brown Cadillac when he was pulled over Monday night on Kings Street, in Sylvester, for a window tint violation.

The responding officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle and upon further investigation found the drug as well as other controlled substances.

Smith is being held in Worth County Jail on $21,500 bail.

He is being charged with:

-Violation of Window Tint Law
-Failure to wear a seatbelt
-Possession of a Scheduled III Controlled Substance
-Purchase Possession of Marijuana with Manufacture Distribute or Sale
-Transaction of Marijuana at or near a house
-Drugs to be Kept in Original Container
-Possession of Drug Related Object
