ALBANY, GA --
Albany Technical College is hosting their inaugural Holiday Classic Basketball tournament this weekend.

Teams from as far away as New York will be traveling to Albany, to participate in the 2 day event.

While the tournament will be helping local economy by bringing Over 150 basketball players to the area, it also provides the community with something to do this weekend.

"You're going to want to come out because It's going to be a good time for your family, it's going to be up and down basketball, we like to get up and down the court, so it's going to be exciting games, we have local stars," said the head mens basketball coach, Sylvester Patterson

Games start at noon Friday with tickets costing $5 dollars for adults and $3 dollars for kids.
