ALBANY, GA -- A 23-year-old woman has been arrested after attacking a woman at a drive through with a knife.

Albany police say that Shannel Malone approached Shawanda Warren's vehicle at the Checkers' drive-through on South Slappey around 1:24 PM Thursday afternoon and asked Warren for a dollar.

Warren told Malone that she did not have a dollar, which led to Malone pulling out a knife and swinging it towards Warren.

Officers say they were able to apprehend Malone nearby and charging her with aggravated assault.
