One person taken to hospital after shooting

UPDATE

The shooting reportedly occurred when the two suspects entered Sabastian's home and demanded money. The suspects shot the victim and fled the scene.

At this time it is unknown if anything was taken from Sabastian.

ORIGINAL STORY

APD and the Gang Task Force responded to a shooting on Dobbs Drive around 11 p.m. on Friday evening in reference to a shooting.

Albany Police officials have identified the victim as 25-year-old Ruben Sabastian, who was reportedly shot once in the lower right back. 

Police say there are two male suspects at this time; however they are still gathering more information from witnesses to gather a description. Detective Schemika Foster says they don't have a motive at this time and that the investigation is still active.
