ALBANY, GA -- Graduates of Albany State University strutted acoss the stage today with friends and family looking on with pride.

The school's annual fall commencement exercises were held today at the Albany Civic Center with hundreds of students clinging to their new degrees.

Ceremonies began at around 9:45 AM this morning and wrapped up a little after noon. Albany Police directed traffic, and officials say the event was a huge success.
