ALBANY, GA --
Today in our Facebook story of the day you wanted to know, what happens to all that money found at the bottom of the fountains at the Albany Mall?

Employees at the mall says it goes right back into our community. Throughout the year, they receive letters of request from local charities and non-profits for the shiny coins. The requests are approved by management and handed out on a first come, first serve basis. But all that coin doesn't come without the dirty work!

"It can get as much as five to six hundred dollars, we've heard from some of them. We don't really have totals from all of them. We do just give them the coins and then they're required to clean them and roll them or give them to the bank" said Albany Mall representative Debra Rowe.
