ALBANY, GA. -- A Florida man accused of operating a marijuana grow house in Albany has surrendered to police.

30-year-old David Medina was renting a small home on West Lincoln Avenue where the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit seized $70,000 worth of marijuana.

Albany police were originally called to the scene in response to a possible burglary.

Medina has been charged with manufacturing marijuana, which is a felony.
