TIFTON, GA. -- Business is booming in Tift County. Within the past few weeks city officials have held ribbon cutting ceremonies for four new businesses.
Now the Tift County Chamber of Commerce is welcoming yet another business to the area.
After a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday afternoon, Tift County Chamber of Commerce members and others got the chance to dig their claws into some Bojangles’ chicken.
The owner of the restaurant says it was only a matter of time before he branched out from Valdosta and brought the establishment to Tifton.
“I had a lot of customers coming from Tifton to Valdosta to eat at Bojangles’ and they said please come to Tifton,” said Hetl Pate, business owner.
Patel says the business provides quality service. Some may say the restaurant serves fast food but the owner calls it real food at a fast pace.
“Everything is from scratch. Nothing comes in a can and we just reheat it. Everything is made fresh,” said Patel.
