MOULTRIE, GA -- Williams Tabernacle C.M.E Church in Moultrie held their annual, Black History Program, this afternoon.

The celebration kicked off at 3:00 PM, with members of the congregation filing in and paying their respects to those that fought for their freedom.

Reverend Rufus Jolly, addressed the congregation and spoke afterwards about the importance of remembering the past.

"If we do not recall the past, than we will never truly be moving forward," said Rev. Jolly.

The program consisted of several poems, dances, and plenty of singing. Members of the congregation described the event as something they look forward to every single year.
