ALBANY, GA -- The Sylvandale Pre-K Center held a registration kick-off for the 2013-2014 school year Friday morning.

The center invited "Mr. Cutter and Friends" to help kick-off registration by teaching and entertaining kids in a positive and interactive way.

Parents can officially register their children starting Monday February 4th and officials encourage parents to do so as soon as possible.

Gloria Kendall, the director of Sylvandale, said it's so important to register your child for Pre-K because they are at a crucial learning age. Kendall also said studies show that children grow faster, academically, when the begin learning at a younger age.
