LEESBURG, GA --
The Lee County 4-H Shotgun Team, met today for their first officials practice of 2013, off Jordan Road.

Parents, and members of the community gathered at the shooting range to see the kids show their stuff.

Head Coach, Glenn Smith says they wanted the whole county to take pride in the team, despite the recent dispute over gun control.

"Looks like we've got a great turnout, Sheriff's going to speak, and with gun news all in the news this year, it's a good time to show the good side of it," said Smith.

Smith says several state champions have come out of Lee County, and he's hopeful there's another champion in the 2013 squad.
