LEESBURG, GA --
In our Facebook story of the day you wanted to know what types of calls 911 received during the New Year and officials say they mostly consisted of noise complaints.

On Monday, local police asked the public to hold off on firing their guns into the air at midnight but officials say they still received calls from concerned  citizens saying they heard gunshots or firecrackers.

Deputy Chief Lewis Harris with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office says these acts can be dangerous but there were no injuries.
