FOX 31 rings bells for red kettle campaign

The 122-year-old campaign runs through the holidays and raises money for the salvation to provided food, clothing, toys, and other assistance to Americans in need.

ALBANY, GA --

The FOX 31 Crew was out at the Albany mall Friday ringing bells for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign.

The 122-year-old campaign runs through the holidays and raises money for the salvation to provided food, clothing, toys, and other assistance to Americans in need.

The money that is raised locally, stays local.

Last year the Salvation Army raised $147 million, which went to help 30 million American.

The event ended up raising over $500 for the Salvation Army.
