ALBANY, GA -- The Dougherty County Finance Committee met this morning, continuing their series on budget reviews for different agencies.

The reviewing process has been ongoing since early December, and members on the board feel that this is the best way to make sure the county's 2013 budget is stable in every aspect.

"Today we did the, "Department of Children and Family Services," and it's been real helpful for us to understand their budget needs, and obviously we're looking at any possible ways to reduce the county's budget," said Dougherty County Commissioner, Ewell Lyle.

The committee will continue reviewing the budget next week at 8:30 AM in the 5th floor of the Government Center.
