ALBANY, GA -- Tift County Regional Medical Center held its 10th annual, "Hearts and Diamonds" gala this weekend, honoring President and CEO, Bill Richardson.

Richardson has served as CEO since 1988, and has taken the center to new heights throughout his tenure.

Executive Director, Mandy Brooks, stated the facility would not be where it is today without his efforts.

"He's actually brought our hospital from a general hospital to a regional hospital, and we've seen a lot of growth here and we are so proud of him and all his hard work for Tift Regional," said Brooks.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Tift Regional Foundation Heart Safe Community Program.
