TIFTON, GA --
The University of Georgia Tifton Conference Center held their annual Agriculture Forecast Seminar Wednesday morning.

Officials say from production to processing, agriculture is the single largest industry in Georgia, which is why it's important to hold these seminars. Officials provided farmers and businesspeople involved in agriculture an economic outlook for the upcoming year.

This year's focus was on Georgia's agricultural exports.

Jimmy Webb who is a local cotton and peanut farmer and a Georgia delegate to the National Cotton Council, says farmers in Georgia won't survive if they don't get involved in exporting. Webb says exporting will not only financially benefit the farmers, it will also help Georgia's economy.
