ALBANY, GA --
The Albany Symphony Orchestra teamed up with Dougherty and Lee County school systems to provide students with a hands-on musical experience.

The year-long program culminated Friday morning with a live performance involving the symphony and students in grades 3 through 5.

During various songs the symphony played, students in the crowd pulled out their recorders and played along with them.

Parents were also invited to the concert to see what their children had been preparing for all year.
