Albany police sit down to feast before Christmas

ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Police Department held their annual holiday luncheon Friday afternoon to bring together their law enforcement family before Christmas.

During the luncheon, service standard awards were presented to staff members across the department.

One of the awards presented by Chief John Proctor included the Commander-In-Chief award that was presented to Public Information Officer Phyllis Banks for going above and beyond the call of duty.

The lunch was paid for by senior police officials.
