ALBANY, GA. --

The Dougherty County Board of Education is meeting with state officials in Atlanta to discuss ongoing audit issues that the school system has been facing since this past summer.

Superintendent Dr. Joshua Murfree, current board members, and board members-elect  Dr. Lane Price and Robert Youngblood are expecting to meet at 2:00 p.m.

District 2 representative, Milton Griffin, is not present due to health issues. Dr. Anita Williams-Brown is currently out of the country.
