Tifton Police look for armed robbery suspects who shot one clerk and sent her to the hospital.

ALBANY, GA -- Goff Street Convenience Store, located on 1005 East 12th Street in Tifton, fell victim to an armed robbery November 15th at 9:35 PM.
Three black males armed with handguns, entered the store and robbed the clerk, scaring two other customers who were inside at the time. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, and left the store on foot.
On November 21st, Jay's Food Mart in Tifton also experienced an armed robbery by three black males, armed with handguns as well. The first suspect entered the store and immediately jumped over the counter and shot the female clerk one time, fleeing from the store after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.
The male clerk came out of the back room and attempted to pursue the suspect, but was forced back in by the other two suspects.
Tifton Police are reporting that this incident is even more disturbing because the female clerk was shot before being given the chance to cooperate. She was transported by EMS to Regional Hospital and so far there is no update on her condition.
