ALBANY, GA. --

Many people will be partying over the holiday weekend and for those who have too much to drink; AAA is providing a safe and free ride home.

AAA and Budlight have teamed up for the Tow-to-Go program. This provides intoxicated drivers with a confidential ride to a safe location within a 10-mile radius.

A tow truck will transport both the vehicle and the driver without a fee.

This weekend the service is being offered to both AAA members and non-members.

“All you have to do is call the 800 number which is 800-AAA-help and that will direct you to one of our call centers who will take your information and see that a service vehicle and driver are dispatched out to your location to get you home,” said Paul Conrad, AAA Fleet and Operations Manager.

The Tow-to-Go program starts Thursday night and will run through the 25th.
