After 40 years of working in the Men's Clothing business, Friedman's Clothing owners, Bruce and Janie Bitterman, are retiring.

The married couple has been operating the men's specialty store, out of its current location, on North Westover Boulevard, for the past 24 years. They say while their looking forward to spending time with their grandchildren, they are going to miss their customers.

“The community and the surrounding towns have been great to us, and we just want to thank everybody, we appreciate it, and hope they take advantage of our prices now that we're moving on,” said Bruce Bitterman.
