LEESBURG, GA --
The Lee County Board of Education met Wednesday morning with State Representative Ed Rynders to discuss concerns they have for the new year.

According to Rynders, most programs in the state of Georgia will be seeing a three percent budget cut in the upcoming year, but education will not be one of those programs.

One concern that arose during the meeting was support from the state for Pre-K programs.

Superintendent Lawrence Walters said the Pre-K program is one of the most important because that is where education starts and he intends to put much of his focus on this program.
