LEE COUNTY, GA --
Over 8 houses along Lovers Lane in Leesburg were left without water Friday after their wells ran dry.

"My well was not pumping any water, well was working, but it wasn't pumping any water, so I went around and talked to my neighbors and they said they had no water either, so I called the well man and he said yes it's happened down Lover's Lane Road, here just last night and this morning, and they've been up and down the road today doing everybody's wells," said home owner Jerry Johnson.

Each individual well must be re-tapped, and home owners say this is the first time this has ever happened to them.
