ALBANY, GA --
A semi-truck crashed into multiple structures including a telephone pole at the 3000 block of Sylvester Road Tuesday afternoon.

FOX 31 spoke with the semi-truck driver who said he was eating girl scout cookies and started throwing up, then blacked out. He swerved off of Sylvester road and hit a fire hydrant, telephone pole, and a fence before swerving back onto the road.

The pole ripped the entire top of the truck in half, but never hit the driver and left him unharmed.

Traffic is backed up in both directions and we will give you more details once they become available.
