ALBANY, GA -- UPDATE (3/18/13, 8:13 AM):

Two brothers have been charged in the case, Carlos Sherman and James Sherman Jr.

Carlos Sherman has been charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

His brother James is charged with party to a crime, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.

ORIGINAL STORY (3/16/13):

Albany police officers responded to the 100 block of Marie Road after reports of a fight were reported.

Once on-scene, police found the victim lying on the ground with a large cut to his abdomen. The victim told responding officers that he was fighting another individual when they cut him.

Police apprehended Carlos Sherman at the scene as a potential suspect, and transported him to the Law Enforcement Center for further questioning.
