ALBANY, GA --
A local teacher in Baconton was in a pretty bad car accident right before Christmas, and Saturday morning the community came together to hold the "Patty Dash 5k" which raised money for the teacher and her family.

Greg Eidson's wife was the teacher involved in the accident and says his wife spent several weeks in the hospital after the incident and is now having to go through rehabilitation and the bills are slowly piling up. Eidson says it's overwhelming to see the entire community come together just to help his wife.
