ALBANY, GA --
The Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit with assistance from the Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested a Camilia man Friday afternoon for Xanax possession.

According to police, Luke Williams was followed out of Dougherty County into Lee County by ADDU units when he was pulled over with Lee County Sheriff's deputies.

Deputies used a K9 to search around the vehicle and the dog alerted officers to the drugs.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers found Xanax bars stashed in salt and pepper shakers.

Williams is being charged with possession of the Xanax since he did not have a prescription and not having drugs in their original container.
