ALBANY, GA --
The Albany Convention and Visitor's Bureau is reporting record numbers for the 2012 holiday season.

Officials say between the Parks at Chehaw's Festival of Lights event, the Flint Riverquarium and the Thronateeska Heritage Museum, thousands of visitors made their way into the city for the holidays.

Early reports state that over 1,600 people attended the "Festival of Lights" in December, and both the Riverquarium and Thronateeska saw increased numbers as well.
