ALBANY, GA -- A day after the rapture was supposed to have started, it seems like the prediction may have been a flop.

On Sunday morning at Bethel A.M.E. Church, everything went on as normal. The choir still sang and the pews were still filled.

"Someone's always trying to sit down and predict when the end will come and as you can see we're still here. The rapture hasn't come," said Pastor Earnest Davis.

Some people feared the day and hyped it up as they did the Y2K scare of 1999, but others were skeptical about the prophecy.

"Not to say that I wasn't intrigued by the story but I wasn't preparing for the world to end." said Adam Hutchis.

The pastor of Bethel A.M.E. Church said people no one knows when the rapture will occur. He said it's wise for people to use their time building up God's kingdom while on earth.
