ALBANY, GA -- A Dougherty County woman who was on the most wanted list after she fled the area while awaiting her sentencing has been caught according to District Attorney Greg Edwards. Edwards says Connie Lynn Justice and her sister Carrie Lee Franklin were arrested and charged with a felony count of maliciously imprisoning a person against their will after they committed their competent mother to a metal facility. Justice and Franklin were both found guilty by a trial in June and released on bond to await sentencing. Officials say Franklin showed up for her sentencing and received five years with two to serve in prison but Justice was no where to be found. Edwards says thanks to a new technique the office will now be using more, they were able to locate Justice in Brunswick and arrest her. She is currently being held in the Glenn County Jail waiting to be transported to the Dougherty County Jail for her sentencing. Edwards says it is up to Judge Denise Marshall and the courts to decide whether she'll face an additional charge of contempt of court.
