An electrical shortage caused a blaze at 213 Monarch Drive Wednesday around 3:30 AM.
Flames started near the bottom of the house and quickly spread up the exterior walls, into the attic.
Battalion Chief, Daniel Potter says "once flames spread to the attic, there is potential for the fire to spread."
The first crews on scene quickly knocked down the flames and had the house ventilated by the time the other trucks arrived.
About 400 gallons of water were used to extinguish the fire.
No one was hurt.
