(AP) -- A coroner has confirmed the identity of a fourth person who died when a business jet collided with a 60-foot utility pole and caught fire after aborting its landing at an east Georgia airport.
The plane was carrying a surgeon and members of his clinic staff when it went down Wednesday night at the Thomson-McDuffie Regional Airport after a flight from Nashville.
McDuffie County Coroner Foster Wiley said early Friday that identities of four people killed had been confirmed: Dr. Steven Roth, a vascular surgeon; nurse anesthetist Lisa Volpitto; secretary Kim Davidson; and Tiffany Porter.
Dr. Stephen Davis, a surgeon who works for an affiliated clinic, has said Porter and the fifth person killed were ultrasound technicians.
