ALBANY, GA -- The Albany City Commission discussed site review reports for the multimodal center during their Tuesday morning meeting.

Commissioners heard about each of the four sites and the costs to retool the property, which ranged from $8.8 to $11.2 million.

To help offset the cost, commissioners are hoping to get nearly $6 million in federal funding and having the city pay the difference.

Commissioners asked for a re-evaluation of each site along with ways to lower costs for each site.

The multimodal plans have been tabled and will be revisited in March.
