ALBANY --
It may not be Valentine’s Day yet, but the Albany Civic Center is about to be transformed into a Valentine’s Dance for adults with disabilities on Tuesday night.

The Albany Recreation and Parks Department partnered with the provisional class of the Junior league of Albany to host the party which will include dinner, a DJ and of course, plenty of dancing.

Coordinator of Therapeutic Recreation Robyn Fink says it gives those with disabilities a chance to interact and have a fun time with other people in the community that are like them in a safe space.

Organizers expect around 200 adults to show up for the event.
