ALBANY, GA --
The Thronateeska Heritage Center held a ground-breaking ceremony Wednesday morning to celebrate the building of their new Archive Center.

The Archive Center will be an addition to the campus, which already has a history museum and a planetarium.

Officials with the Thronateeska Heritage Center said Albany is a town full of history that many people don’t know about. The new center will help them keep up with the history and find ways to educate the community about the history of Albany as well.
