DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA --
42-year-old Brandie Hurst has been injured after being stabbed in the neck during a domestic altercation at their Lover's Lane Road home.

Dougherty County Police Captain Tom Jackson with the Dougherty County Police Department said that Hurst's husband Dee Hurst stabbed his wife and demanded her debit card. Dee Hurst then left the scene with the card.

Captain Jackson said that an all-points bulletin was issued for the husband. Dee Hurst has been charged with aggravated assault.

Jackson added that Hurst texted his employer saying he was driving to Savannah and asking Brandie Hurst's mother if his wife was alright.

Brandie Hurst was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.
