Albany Fire Department crews responded to an electrical fire at a residence located at 1107 St. Andrews Drive a little before 3 A.M on Friday morning.

Officials say the fire is the result of an electrical outlet overload. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage turned living room area.

There is a lot of smoke damage throughout the home.

The family was able to get out safely and despite smoke damage, are able to return to the house.
