Finance Committee meets to review first 6 months of yearly budget.

ALBANY, GA --
The Dougherty County Finance Committee also met today, discussing budgets from the past year.
With December 31st marking the end of the budget year, commissioner Lamar Hudgins says the board is optimistic, and hopeful for the future.
"Reviewed the budgets for the first 6 months of the budget year, which ended December 31st, and things seem to be tracking both expenditures and revenue...so we're hopeful they'll continue to do that," said Hudgins.
Hudgins says with the last 6-months in the books, the commission is looking forward to what the next 6 will bring.
