ALBANY, GA. --

In our Facebook story of the day people wanted to know what Christmas traditions people in southwest Georgia have.

Many folks around town say their holiday traditions are pretty normal.

They wake up early in the morning, unwrap presents, and then watch kids play with those gifts.

After dinner, some say they head to the movies while others drive around to see the Christmas lights.

“We definitely have folks that come each and every year. The parks been doing Christmas lights every since I been here way back since 1986. Those people who are annual pass holders I can assure you we get a very large percent of them every year to see the lights,” said Ben Kirkland, Natural Resource Director for Chehaw.

However don't plan on seeing Chehaw's lights after Christmas dinner as they will be closed for the day.
