ALBANY, GA -- With the Mayan calendar set to end today, many people across the globe were afraid that meant the end of the world.

We took to the streets Friday to ask southwest Georgians, if the world were ending, how would they spend their last day on earth?

One man told us, he would, "Spend it with family, friends, and have a good time."

While a lady said she would, "First pray, (laughing), and make sure my soul is safe,"  then spend the rest of the day with her family

Now that it appears we have avoided the end of the world, we can all enjoy the holidays.
