ALBANY, GA -- In our Facebook story of the day we asked, "What kind of forcast is in store for Christmas in Southwest Georgia?"

Well although the temperatures have been cooler, the sun is shining brightly and there's no snow in sight.

Chief Meteorologist, Mike Morrison says that residents can expect similar temp, but some possible showers as well.

"Don't look for a white Christmas this year although we do have a cold front pushing towards us, gives us just a chance for showers Christmas day, our better chances come on Wednesday of next week. We could see stronger thunderstorms that day but Christmas just a chance for some scattered showers," said Morrison
