Just in time for the holiday season, Family Christian stores are making a business move to give even more to charity.

Now that the company is under new management it's pledging to give 100% of its profits to Christian causes and faith-based ministries around the world.

In the past Family Christian gave out 10% of its profits.

Management says the donation is not a promotion; it's a part of a change in the entire business structure.

“We'll donate our profits after we cover our operational expenses. There are costs associated with running the business. So once the operations of the business have been paid anything over and above that will then be donated to charity,” says Tara Powers, Family Christian Spokesperson.

Family Christian has 25 different organizations they support.
