LEESBURG --
In our Facebook Story of the Day, you wanted to know if gun sales were up locally since the reelection of President Barack Obama.

Fox 31 spoke with Andy Aumsbaugh of Mega Pawn in Leesburg who says they’ve seen quite an increase since the election, especially with certain types of guns.

President Obama made references to gun bans during the presidential debates and Aumsbaugh says people are worried he’s going to put those into effect. Since President Obama’s November 6th reelection, Mega Pawn has seen an increase in black rifles, hand guns and ammo .

Aumsbaugh says people are trying to stock up on these items while they’re readily available and legal.
