ALBANY, GA --
47-year-old Cherie Chung of Sylvester has been arrested and charged with arson according to the Sylvester Police Department.

On October 24th, the Sylvester Fire Department responded to an early-morning fire on West Railroad Street and got the flames under control.

Officials contacted Chung, who lives in the house, and say they grew suspicious when they realized there were two sources to the fire.

Sylvester Police and the Georgia State Fire Marshall's Office questioned Chung about the blaze and say her statements didn't add up.

She was arrested, charged with arson and taken to the Worth County Jail.
