Latest news, weather and high school sports for Albany and Southwest Georgia

The Albany Police Department hosted "The Turkey Bowl 2012" Saturday afternoon at Bowl-A-Rama.

Members of A.P.D., the District Attorney’s office and even a few local bowlers participated in the tournament to help raise money for the hot Thanksgiving dinner the police department will be providing for the community, on November 20^th, at the Albany Civic Center.

Last year they feed 250 people and this year they are shooting for more.
