LEESBURG, GA -- Hurricane Sandy shut down cities up and down the east coast Monday, and clean the up process is just getting underway.
In the Facebook story of the day you wanted to know what will the effect be locally if the Presidential election is pushed back do to the storm.
In Georgia, they aren't planning on moving Election Day, but if they do, that decision won’t be made locally.
"I'm sure we'll get word from the federal government; it'll be passed through to our secretary of state Brian Kemp who will pass it on to us on the local level and let us know of any changes," said Lee County's, Election Supervisor, Veronica Johnson.
So as it stands now, plan on heading to the polls November 6th to vote in the presidential election.
